so you suggest to eat supper in yuen long. again at a cha chan teng style joint serving teochew fish ball and 'ta lang'/打冷 (braised meat and intestines). you opt for a lighter fish ball noodles while he had a beef intestine version.
at kai kee's, this is a famous dessert place and it still is today. you had just a bowl of black sesame tong yuen while he had a ginger sweet potato soup. the B仔凉粉 is from the other couple who are sharing the same table, you finally have your black sesame sweet soup with black sesame dumplings. this is exactly what you need and missed. he had a sweet potato soup with ginger syrup which taste equally good.
all in all, a very 'full' day tummy wise.
