street.tiles

rain rain go away....
no rain is not going away....
outdoor plan would not work, so you decided to get some art fix and went to koto-ward for the MoT museum in this neighbourhood.

starting with this lamp post marking the historical area... the street is rather laidback, not too many people on the street, it's raining anyway.  the shops are selling the traditional stew stuff, and the scent and aroma fill the street as you walk towards the museum...
and you had some nice discoveries.
street tiles...
pretty ones...
meaningful ones...
and you follow the tiles every 20 steps or so and curious what is the next image you will see.
you enjoy your discovery...
first encounter with butterfly

 morning glory
hmm, not sure what this is...

sakura for spring

 iris for late june

and some hydrangea for the late summer

p/s: this is a scheduled post.  the story entails the saturday visit to mot on 22nd april 2011. at this moment i am away from tokyo for a short overnight trip. so more tales will be told hopefully soon....
