Futuristic Odaiba (お台場)

We spent our afternoon at Odaiba (お 台場), an artificial man made island at Tokyo Bay. When we first arrived, the view is quite depressing with the grey sky and humid temperature. The high rise buildings look exactly like the concrete jungle of Hong Kong and the man made beach didn't help either. All in all, I see the images of Hong Kong (the bridge, high rise residential buildings and shopping malls), Singapore (glimpse of Santosa Island on the man made beach), New York city (the small statue of Liberty) and Las Vegas (Venus Fort shopping complex which looks exactly like Caesar Mall at Caesar Palace Hotel). Despite of all these, the high tech elements, the futuristic components of Odaiba still thrills me....

ghtens on some scenarios and there are some special effects on the break and wheels to slow down on a slippery road.

vening view of Odaiba is more charming than the day view. Overlooking the rainbow bridge

The night view is even more romantic....
