too much of flying lately.
this trip is to attend a three day training. so hopefully it's less stressful. your hotel is not in the city center, but in colombes, just a little bit further than la defense at the west end of greater paris.
today is a bank holiday for france, but most shopping areas are open. you took a bus and chance to metro to get out right at tuileries station. you had a date with angelina (story will come tomorrow). jardine des tuileries is quite empty and deserted today.
the trees are now overshadow by yellow and golden leaves.
and the fallen leaves, wet ground. autumn has certainly sneaked into paris. it's wet entire day. so you have to carry an umbrella whole afternoon.
after your appointment with angelina, you stroll around the area, place de vendome can be seen here.
you want to check out mr. PH, but his branch at rue cambon is closed today.
and you walk to rue saint honore wanting to check out goyard, mr. goyard also decided to leave his maison shut and take a day off today. what a bummer... and when mr PH and goyard declared off, they not only close the shop but also cover the floor length display window with curtain. as such nothing can be seen. absolutely nothing.
well, ici paris. this is paris.
