14/17 meeting the lord

you woke up early for a day trip to macau. nstead of mainstream macau that consists of standard itinerary of casino strip and taipa old town, you opt for the off the beaten track and head to the southeast tip of macau's coloane district. this part of macau remains unchanged and unaffected by the casino developments.

you had your brunch at lord stow's cafe, the establishment that put pastel de nata or macau Portuguese tart to international reputation.  other than the pastel de nata, the rest of the dishes on the menu is pretty english or standard western cafe menu.  you had a minestrone soup and followed by capella a portuguese-ish meat loaf served with potato and salad.  huge portion and too hearty for you after the soup and you need to make room for the pastel de nata, hence you switch your main with his vegetarian jacket potatoes.
