summer.in.milan

you stopover milan almost every trip but you just didn't have the time to check the city out other than a quick overnight and head back to lowland.  you decided to do so this trip because the sales is on and you would like to pamper yourself a little, after all the hard work.  so instead of checking out the regular shopping area, you opt for brera, a quaint area to browse and not so mainstream boutiques.
you could haul your parma ham here but since you already got your purchase from parma so you just walk past.
there are plenty of surprises and court yards. the shops offer quite a variety of apparel and when it's on sales, it's actually very cheap, if only there's the right size for you.  in short, a lot of browsing, trying, touching but not much of acquisitions.

you follow your walking plan and arrive the famous corso como... it's already very hot even before 12 noon.
you pay a quick vision to the shop, but nothing is on sales here and anyway, it's way outside your price range...
so you just take a quick shelter at the cafe, it's just to hot to continue walking...
and you finally reach your last destination of the half day, i.e. the eataly. there's a collaboration with fiat 500, so you see a car decorated with the fresh produces
quite an interesting display.  you had your quick lunch here, grab a few food items and return to your hotel, haul your luggage and head to airport.
italy is really hot in the summer, the temperature is constantly 36c and above. it's just too warm even for a tropical gal like you.
