celebrate.life

it's the day of the year where the last digit of your age has an increase of one.  in this case, the second digit is the same as the first digit!
you travel so much that you decided to let go of a birthday trip like what you normally do the last few years.  in back it's good to be home and the dutch summer is more gentle to your skin and overall well being.

it's just a normal working day where you have plenty of back to back call.  even then you take a proper lunch break and prepare yourself a bowl of simple longevity noodles soak in rice wine chicken stock and eat with a hard bowl egg.  you're becoming nostalgic as the digit increase each year.  such an old fashion bowl of noodles bring back a lot of memories, as this is how birthday is celebrated in your home town.
in the evening you go to this all you can eat restaurant simple because it's free for the birthday gal.  you're becoming more dutch by year...  it's really worth it if there is only two of you and one is free!  the starter selection is good, this is your starter plate
and the t-bone steak is really why you're here for (other than it's free for the birthday gal).  this piece of steak is so tender and moist and huge! you have to share a piece with him or else you won't be able to eat anything else after this.

feeling thankful today for an additional year added to your life, at this age, you just embrace your life graciously and knowing who you're in Christ and what your potential is.  you're grateful to Him for who you're today.

celebrate life!
