7/22 spring! friends!

 you amazed at your energy level after the jagoi hike. you still have the energy to collect the rented car and drive to the mall for a quick shopping.

 this cafe is quite warm and welcoming, you didn't have the luxury to stop for a drink as you came here quite late in the afternoon.

 and the food court has been revamped with quite some attractive merchandises that suit your taste...

 at the supermarket, you quickly grab a few things including these sarawak laksa and sarawak white laksa.

 then you're off to your next appointment with your friends and one of them you haven't seen for 20+ years. and since he requested western food, so your friends brought you here

 not very far from where you lodged, it's a huge standalone house in the residential area with a huge garden leading you to the dining area.

western as it says and you already not having any high expectation and the mushroom soup and nachos that you ordered are barely up to the western standard but probably alright for the locals.  anyway, you're here not for the food but for the reunion with your friends. it's so good to see them again.
