Making Laksa




Well... the Malaysian cooking venture continue...


This weekend we decided to cook Laksa, and normally when we cooked laksa, we mean the normal curry seafood laksa. This time, however, out of the blue, Johannes suggested using Kuching Laksa paste.

Because it was meant for curry seafood laksa, all the ingredients prepare are for that curry laksa and not Kuching laksa. Having live in Europe for a while, one need to be really flexible and creative when come to Asians cooking. So I cooked Kuching laksa without shredded eggs, cucumbers, chicken, but a Kuching laksa with only seafood ingredients. The taste is closed to what we find in Kuching though.
