we attended two weddings in a week!!! today's one is technically just a civil marriage registration followed by a lunch reception....
at the delft city hall, where the couple A&D legalized their marriage by the dutch law.... the holy matrimony will be sometime in january next year but not here in the lowland but in a warm century in central america where literally most of us will not attend...
at the cafe just next to the city hall, the guests are a true confluent of international mix... with the bride origins from central america to the groom from the western's tip of europe - portugal... and so there is the tower of babel under this roof, people speaking spanish, portugese, indonesian, dutch, english and many more languages. the uniqueness of this young couple is that both of them are international students at the technical university in delft and they met each other at our church FMC delft...
our pastor gave a short message about marriage as a miniature of heaven on earth and in this occasion also i have got many opportunities to show the little kindness to other people which is exactly the word that has been preached by sister helen trowbridge on thursday night during the prayer meeting...
