hen.bachelor.party

it's all rather last minute when me and another sister in my care group think that it will not be appropriate if we are not doing anything special for T who is getting married next week.  in a short notice we have to think of something and then i remember just round the corner of my house there is this restaurant converted from a barn that serves good high tea...

so on a autumn saturday afternoon, we met at my place so that the venue is secret to T and from my place we came here for a girlie afternoon tea...

'traditional' english afternoon tea not serve in the porcelain and tea that not sip in a teapot but in your own tea glass...the scone is yummy and the savory quiche, shrimp croquette and cheese croquette are non conventional english high tea but are welcome savory taste among the sweet stuff.  i love the tea, especially the lavender earl grey, it's the tea that i think the high tea is well worth the money....

we were nice to her, we didn't ask her to do anything nasty but just passing her little 'gifts' of which she has to guess and tell us a story/experience that in line with the little gift she received....
in the late evening, we joined up with the bachelor's group for dinner and that's when the nasty assignments started in the restaurant. the couple has to do everything that they were told, a kind of torturing bachelor party games that is quite popular here in the lowland....

it's rather late now, my stomach is blotted from eating this weekend... there are two weddings to attend next week...
have a blessed week ahead...
