it's a cold day, it feels like icy cold and freezing as if the tempearture is dropping as we walk from our car park to the city hall where the marriage registration ceremony will take place. we arrived a little too early and so we go checking out the different function rooms in the city hall and found this green room rather appealing...
the room is in decorated in neo baroque style and rather classy with the touch of classical paintings, banker's lamp and chandelier, everything is in the green color tone and at first we thought the marriage registration will take place here but later we found out that the ceremony is going to take place in another larger room...
from the civil marriage ceremony at the city hall of dordrecht, we move to another location for the holy matrimony and the blessing service conducted by our pastor from FMC delft. we were well fed by the indonesian style buffet dinner and extra hot sambal that exactly what i needed on a cold autumn day. we then musing around different tables and this is a photo taken with the elegant and beautiful bride and the guests mingling and chatting away after the dinner....
and the two cakes (two types really as the wedding cake is made out of four cakes) that serve two different occasions, the white wedding cake for T&R wedding and the mocha icing cake for our pastor's birthday which also falls on the ninth november....
