cherry.blossom.gone.with.the.wind

with all this uncertainty, at least the fowers are still blooming.  you start out the sakura at your neighbourhood atago jinja and nhk broadcast center compound, and then to ueno park to down the stream at inokashira park, night sakura at happoen,  enjoyed the warm atmosphere that lasts long into the chilly night.
cherry blossom (9th april) and cherry tree (16th april) - view from my balcony

you had some solitude moments, from the early morning walk to shiba koen, yasukini jinja to kitanomaru park. and mid noon hot date at at imperial park surrounding including chiyorigafuchi.

life is but a dream.

life is short. at least the life span for cherry blossom is short that only lasts for a few days.
life is uncertain too with japan constantly on the move (aftershocks) and let alone the unexpected tsunami that demolished some 550km coastline of japan a month ago.
view from my balcony - the cherry blossoms are gone and soon it will be replace by green leaves
the flowers. brief bloom. is a representative of the ephemeral fleeting nature of human existence to many japanese people.
yet for you, the brief bloom. is a symbol of new life. new hope, re-birth (born again) for the season, for japan.
