you remember seeing these four letters years ago and wonder what do they mean. it was much later you know that it means "What Would Jesus Do", but today you see a whole new meaning to WWJD, it is "Why Would Jesus Died".
yes, today is the day to remembrance of the event where Jesus died on the cross. He has no sins but yet He chose to die on the cross for your sins, so that you can be made righteous once again...
you remember you been through the emotional turmoil since the march 11th earthquake. you constantly blame yourself for not helping or making other to know about God and His saving grace. you asked yourself "What Would Jesus Do" in moment like these, in the current situation in japan and where you are right now in tokyo. the earth is constantly shaking, every day you experience some magnitudes of 1-4 earthquakes/aftershocks, and may be very soon there will be a new heaven and earth, who knows, but what would you do to make a difference. you know you can't make a dramatic change, nor have you got the power to control the earth but what you could do is to let people know about Jesus and learn about the salvation that could change their life forever.
good friday marks the greatest redemption from God to man. it's an amazing grace. you sincerely pray that your readers will come to know Jesus personally more than just easter or christmas. for you, you know your position in Christ and the power that you can rely on in His name. He has showed you His supernatural power in healing and He is constantly showering His love to you in all circumstances. for you, Jesus is your everything!
good friday is not a holiday here in japan, it passes without people noticing it if not because your indian team is off today your japanese colleagues won't even notice such a special occasion.
