hot.date.with.sakura

thanked god is friday! you had a rough morning chasing down usa, india to get start with your day activity for japan. you have been calling everybody to get things done and thankfully you sorted out and everything on schedule for today.
this week you had two early morning hot dates with sakura.  you met her again at yasukuni jinja (靖国神社).

since it opens at 6am in the morning and it is just one stop away from your work place, you came here early enough to enjoy the serenity and still early enough to get back to work afterwards.

one of the most controversial place for the chinese, because this is the place where the japanese honor the military forces who died on second world war.  another day with blue sky and pleasant temperature, there is nothing else you would ask for more on this day.

the path leading to the compound is very scenic, as it is early in the morning, you almost have the entire path for yourself...

you didn't enter the shrine but you are just at the surrounding park to appreciate the sakura, to have a simple version of sakura hanami.

the sakura season in japan is determined by one of the sakura tree here in the park. when one of the tree has more than five flowers blossom, the sakura season begins...
perhaps it's already over the prime time ,there is no spectacular think sakura blossoms but still what you see is great, your sakura in a different setting...

again the visit is brief because you have meeting to attend, but the last look back is unforgettable.  this is probably the best season ever and you are blessed to be able to be part of sakura season.

happy weekend!
