japanese.garden

you've been wanting to visit this pristine and serene japanese garden in den haag which only open twice a year. once in spring and the other in autumn each opening spans about six week.
the weather is fine this morning, sunny and a decent spring temperature that you could stroll without a jacket....
approaching the garden, there are plenty of  azalea welcoming you at the main park
and you spot the little red bridge from a distance
stone lamp, viewing platform, still stream and the reflection
quite a picturesque spot that momentary transport you to japan...
with not too many people and kids around, you're able to appreciate the ambiance of serenity, peace and calm atmosphere that any good japanese garden should provide
japanese momoji tree amidst the green
more azalea
you sat at the viewing platform, rest your feet, ate the matcha mochi cake that you packed along... and  admiring the beauty of the manicured garden, you're disconnected from the world momentarily. it's good, refreshing both to the body, soul and the spirit...
you wished you brought your sketch book along while don't have it, you decided to capture the scenery in lomo mood
he took your camera and cam-hoaring
the colors of japanese garden. beauty. spring. oasis in the city.
