you spent the last three days writing a report after your trip to germany. you were really slow this time, not that you are not motivated, but you just seem tired and what supposed to be a quick power nap turned into long slumber afternoon sleep. you blame the weather, it's still cold...
you finally submitted your report this afternoon and found yourself in relief because it's the start of a long weekend ^^.
you went out for a quick round of groceries shopping, gathered your ingredients and whisked up matcha mochi cake that you always wanted to try...
it's easy but you are not so satisfied with the final appearance. a little brown and the joint between azuki bean and the mochi cake doesn't seal up properly. Set aside the look, the cake is gooey and yummy with the just right mochi texture. you love the taste though, it's so good. azuki and matcha is the perfect combination in japanese essence and it cannot go wrong.
