greetings from manhattan + {am main}, aka this manhattan is not that manhattan, but just how the local people in frankfurt label the city.

you were completely shutdown over the weekend, the time of the month :( that you had to endure the pains and sufferings. it's a cup that you have to drink, at the peak moment, all you did was giving thanks and ask the Lord to remove the pain, and you were wondering if you can make the trip here today.

thankfully everything's over by this morning. you had a reasonably good sleep last night. and you are able to embark on a journey to frankfurt.

prior to your flight, you had an appointment with your doctor, date is more or less fixed, all you need to do is to sort out your work schedule with your manager, and perhaps doing the operation in the summer has less impact to your work and the company's business. you don't know, but if the surgery has to be done, it needs to be done. 

on your way here, you asked for a window seat since it's a short flight, and seeing the cloud the Lord just confirmed to you through this scene, isaiah 55:8 - 9 "for My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.". it's comforting especially after the discussion with the doctor.

anyway, you are now in frankfurt, arriving in the evening, checked in and manage to meet up with your colleague from malaga for dinner, he is half dead due to very early morning departure, so you had a simple but delicious italian meal nearby the hotel and called it a day.
