spring.asparagus

it's now may and you are yet to taste the lowland asparagus, the price is still very high and don't look like they are commonly available in the season as yet.
you had a nice dinner, another colleague of yours pick you up, gave you a brief evening tour of frankfurt before heading for dinner at a very nice restaurant somewhere...
you had your taste of spring white and green asparagus in frankfurt. you really love the taste of spring in a plate with the lightly cured fresh salmon. the white and green asparagus give the distinct taste together with the fennel that added another dimension of flavor in the salad, it's yummy especially when you wash it down with chilled german dry riesling wine.
dessert is supposed to be a fillie-millie honey ricotta cheese with a boozy sorbet, it took a long time to prepare and although the presentation of the dessert is not as what you expected fillie-millie in layer but the deep fried concoction of honey and ricotta cheese is worth the wait. and the boozy sorbet of course ^^.

you are really not in the mood of eating dinner lately especially when you had a full hot meal for lunch. you skipped the main course tonight and even then you feel bloated after the dessert.

you still have some pain at the lower left of your abdominal, you feel the constant oppression of the growth against your colon and bladder.  you are relief that you don't have to wait too long to resolve the problem.

frankfurt is a nice city but not interesting enough to give excitement like london, milan or paris. it's not your first trip here and so there's really not much thrill to paint the city red. thank goodness this is just a four days assignment and you will stay put for a short week next week before you are on the move again.
