when life is full of strawberries, you make french charlotte out of it.

you don't know what to say anymore except that you have not given up hope.  you never expect to spend your spring here in the lowland yet you are confronted with the spring here.  you can't imagine yourself spending your easter here.  that would be too cruel to your plan.  all you want to do now is to return to tokyo.  and at this moment only God can make this miracle happenss...

so while waiting and with the country is giving you spring and strawberries, why not just  embrace in the spring strawberries from spain.

you eat them plain, you add them to ice cream and still there are abundance of strawberries in the supermarket.  so why not set an appointment with dear charlotte.
on a sunny morning, you took out your blender, clean the strawberries, set the lady finger biscuits and ready to embark in a special spring project "dear charlotte".

making french charlotte is not difficult but it involves lots of procedures and steps, in making the syrup, the cream and the coulis... but is well worth the effort and the waiting time...

dear charlotte turns out beautifully, after a night in the fridge and you dress her up with even more fresh strawberries...

just the way you expected her to be... elegant but down to earth, full of the spring spirit and the red fruits to cheer you up.
