scotland, like ireland are the lands of whiskey. well, they are not exactly the same as i was told. scottish called theirs whisky while irish prefers to add an "e" and called it whiskey.
i am not into whisky nor whiskey and also have no interest about whisk(e)y. this scott whisky gift is from the lady that i mentioned about yesterday. she left the client office much earlier than me, and before she leaves, she handed over this whisky collection to me and insisted i should have it.
i don't know how to describe this situation but i am thankful. we only know each other for four days but we feel like we know each other for a very long time. she has a dutch partner, pretty much lived in asia (in particular hong kong) and we both wear a georg jensen watch. she is the first person i met in europe wearing the same watch as me. so let's say we click and get along quite well.
i am not writing about the flavor of whisky that i don't know much about. but about a favor i know very well, and that is the favor of the Lord. because His favor is upon me and therefore i have favor with (wo)men. the scripture also says in psalm 90:17 - may the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us - yes, establish the work of our hands and in proverbs 12:2 - good people obtain favor from the LORD, but he condemns those who devise wicked schemes
i picked up something from the airport duty free today. not sure what they are but i guess these are scott whisky infused fudge.
