this christmas has taken a very different sphere and approach as you are now in your homeland. there is no snowman, no cold weather (except air condition) or white christmas.
there is no real christmas tree and seeing this christmas decoration here in the shopping mall is quite bizarre but that doesn't change the real reason for CHRISTmas.
it is about Christ who is born on earth to save you and others. He is the perfect gift from God to man and He is the only reason for this special occasion and season.
today, if you are at your european home, you are probably busy with preparing the christmas dinner, lit up the lights and dress yourself cozy and warm for a yummy delicious meal over silent night.
since you are in your tropical home, you drove some 100km to a beach town called lundu. a place that you never visited since the day you left your hometown and venture away, even when you were back for visits you never set your foot to lundu since.
so you embrace what the nature gives you, the warm breeze, the cloudy and sunny sky, the beach, the sea, the sands. all the abundance of natural resources... you laze yourself at this horizon pool, and had the whole pool by yourself during the mid afternoon because asians just don't swimming until the sun is about to set.
and when you are done, you just lie on the beach chair and continue to observe the sky, the cloud, listening to the wave and the rising high tide. a good time to reconnect to the nature and embrace all the beauty that the Lord has created.
