sometime back in may in beijing, your first meal in beijing with a dear ex-colleague who has became a dear friend and a sister in Christ. it was life saving and refreshing after all the xingjiang food.

stir fried  bitter-gourd (清抄苦瓜)
 drunken chicken (醉鸡)
 sweet vinegar spare rib (糖醋排骨)
 pumpkin coated in salted egg, deep fried (咸蛋南瓜)- greasy but yummy

spicy and sour soup (酸辣汤)
