miao.miao.city

it's strange to be back to your birth place all by yourself without him.
you suddenly have all the time to sit back and relax.  kuching, the capital city of the land of hornbill, the other name of the state of sarawak. here is where you grew up, almost all your character shaping and forming took place here.
your appointment got shifted from morning to afternoon, so you ended up with ample of time to kill, driving passed the amphitheater, you decided to stop and rekindle your childhood memory...
kuching is still very green, and plenty open space to breath and relax...
the civic center is still the same, standing high watching the city.  you used to come to the library at the civic center preparing for your A level exam. those were the time....
moving on you came to the heart of the city, the famous landmark of kuching where the cat statues are...
and a famous tourist cafe along the river front
sarawak river is still the same, still streaming and flowing... a living water that raise you up
the same humid air and tropical flowers
another tourist cafe - james brooke cafe
istana (the palace) across the river, while birds of paradise are watching from the distance.

this is your home town. this part of the city hardly change over the last few decades. this place is still very kuching, very miao miao to you.
