reconnect.friendship.celebrate.food

from friends that you met every home trip to some that you have not met for 8 years to 22 years. it's amazing to reconnect, rekindle the friendship. childhood friends, girls' brigade friends and high school friends. Some remain single, others with kids but all of you are still the same fun and humorous bunch. so much to catch up, to update and to laugh usually over the food, somewhere out there in the city.
on your second night, some good old friends (plus kids) gathering
you were tired of eating out really and all you want is to eat vegetable, especially the local grown midrin vegetables stir fried with shrimp paste
a high school mate that you didn't meet for about 20 years, thanks to facebook that you are reconnect again over a mid afternoon snacks.  rojak (fruit salad), belacan beehoon and assorted cucur.  what else can you ask for more, a long lost friend and some great afternoon delights - kuching style...
another bunch of friends from girl's brigade era, there are just so many memories, recollections and jokes to crack from dinner to drink.
dinner at the same famous seafood open air restaurant above the car park in the city center.  food was great but the serving pace is way too slow and thus some of our dishes came on the table cold.  nonetheless here are the satay, bamboo clam, shells, crab and local vegetables
by now you probably recognized some recurring faces (adults and kids), yes, those are your really closed circle of friends and you can never have enough of eating and drinking session with them.
a friend's hubby runs a japanese restaurant, so you were here tonight to check out his food.

set aside friendship and food, you spent almost the entire day at the medical center during some part of your medical checkup. by the time you are done, it's almost late afternoon. you only manage to get yourself to india street at the inner city center to grab something that you intended to buy and got them all.

reconnect friendship. celebrate food.
