::sinterklaas::

december 5th - the dutch saint nicolas (sinterklaas) day, which is principally more important than the actual christmas day. christmas decorations/lights are not up until a day after sinterklaas. this just show how much the dutch loves this occasion.

chocolate letter is something that generally given to kids or even adult may receive one from work or whoever observe the occasion.

writing this, you are supposed to fly to the highland again. this is supposed to be your second last assignment of the year. you still have another appointment to go this friday in belgium. but after that work is over.

however, things turn  different direction. you woke up on sunday full of enthusiasm to get to the gym and then to the church. then you suddenly experienced the sharp pain at your left lower abdominal again .it's getting so intense that you have to go to the emergency again.  since you just recently had a bladder infection, the doctor suspects that it is more kidney infection up and thus prescribed more antibiotic. pain should go away in 12 hour, but it didn't, so you canceled your business trip, went in and out the hospital and family doctor again.  run the blood test, emergency echo but none of the tests seem to be able to pin point to the root cause of the pain. the painkiller doesn't work anymore, the sharp pain just pulling at certain spot.

so while the dutch world was celebrating sinterklaas, you were enduring the pains and sufferings. some brothers and sisters from your church came to pray for you, you received prophetic words from God which is completely uncompromisable if you look at your circumstances. you couldn't sleep the whole night, waking up every hour, toss and turn to find a comfortable spot to sleep and finally you cried out to God for help and you really understand what sufferings and endurance mean in circumstances like this.
