.spice.up.

My mum in law is not very well lately, she has some pains on one of her foot and also difficulties in walking. This week we didn't have any food delivery from her and so we opt to eat out tonight. Some friends told us about the SiChuan cuisine in Restaurant Long Ting (金龙轩酒家) in Den Haag. Tonight we checked it out and it is really up to my expectation, I probably would not eat at other restaurant in Den Haag except this one...





My best pick - a cold dish (appertizer) called Bang Bang chicken (棒棒鸡)




The chicken is nicely marinated with chili oil and sesame sauce and come with a bed of shredded cucumber. I love the sharpness from the spices/chili and also the sesame flavor, almost as good as those I tried before in SiChuan, China.



Fried Chinese chives and beef with XO sauce (XO 酱韭菜花肥牛) - very nicely done and a savior to Johannes who couldn't take spicy food...




Fried Green - live up to standard...

Another spicy tofu dish (红焖豆腐), not too bad but probably won't order again.


We ordered four dishes in small size but the portion is really big that the food is too much for two. I will go back again next time but definitely with a group of people who love spicy food, so that I can tried all the SiChuan menu....


The top Chinese restaurant so far in Den Haag, love the ambience's of the restaurant, one of the rather trendy decorated with contemporary Chinese design and the air ventilation is superb, we walked out without any stench on our clothing's.
