I finally visited Hermitage Amsterdam Museum finally many months of talking... It was a nice visit although it would be nicer if nothing happened prior to the journey to Amsterdam...
The theme of the exhibition is "At the Russian Court"
There are rather extensive of ballroom dresses on display, both for men and women... Some of the evening gowns are still very tasteful and fashionable today, a few of them are exceptionally graceful and elegant, nicely embodied with precious stones, diamonds and some with pearls, the use of the textiles and combination of the embodiments plus the cutting made some dresses really stand out among the others...
Unfortunately it was overcrowded, making every moment almost impossible without bumping into others but the entire exhibition accurately reveals a Russian kingdom that is foreign to me. The exhibition portraits the happy go lucky moods of the royalty and the "play hard" lifestyle that the imperial Russian has inherited.
Resting my feet at Cafe-Restaurant Neva, inside Hermitage
Exiting from the back door of the museum, which is rather identical with the front entrance
Amstel by night
Some funky decorations outside of the Amsterdam Music Theatre
