my.guiding.angel

in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth...
the earth was without form, and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep
you don't know why, when you bake this cake, the story of genesis fills your mind.  the story of the creation
may be this chocolate mud cake does look a little like the earth without form and light
but the spring tulips are your "light"...
and your creativity went a little wild, as God created adam, you created a little angelic girl.  she is innocent, pure and noble....
this little girl appears and sitting quietly next to the chocolate mud cake, silently she says a little prayer ...
"dear God, You are almighty and powerful God, the earth and the sea belongs to you.  please calm the sea and stop the earth from shaking, and send your angels to help those who have lost their homes, love ones in the tsunami and earthquake of japan..."

and God answered the little girl's prayer by sending angels to be with her and surround her.
and together they were singing, praising and worshiping God - the creator of Heaven and Earth. and together they join hands in prayer, praying for japan  today.

the end

a bit of fantasy from me, but it is friday.  the client in tokyo expects me to be in the office next monday morning.  at the rate that the approval process is taking place, i will surely not be there next monday.  i am almost all packed, but it's too late to make any ticket arrangement now, even if the final approval comes in late this evening, so i will not fly out tomorrow and instead i will enjoy a hollandse spring saturday at home.

Your cake is lovely, but the angels are especially lovely. Be safe, my friend. I admire your faith and spirit.
