spring.春分の日

today is a public holiday in japan.  spring equinox (春分の日).  i am observing this holiday too in the lowland by declaring a day off, after all my work is all about my project in japan.
i have been thinking and praying on when is the best time to return to tokyo.  the project and the client resume to business as of tomorrow.  a couple of us (expats) who have fled the country were given the direction to join the team on site by 28th march.  it is hard to grasp what is the true situation of the fukushima nuclear development. to my company in lowland, all non essential business travelling to japan is still banned. WHO however didn't stop any travelling to japan except travelling to the area such as sendai and fukushima is prohibited.  i will wait for another two days to see if the situation changes, otherwise i will just rely on God to guide my path, as i mentioned i am in a sort of atonement, i need to go back to do what i am set out to do, otherwise my heart will never be at peace.
when come to think of it, i will probably not see any camelia (椿) by the time i return to tokyo.

camelia is already in the full blossom everywhere in february and in early march.

you can easily recognize and point them in every park that you strolled...
and some are already over the peak season
you love this mixed color one

and this dark pink ones reminded you of home in lowland, as you have one camelia tree at your back garden.
with spring equinox, it marks the beginning of spring.  a new season, a season for chance, a season for second chance.  may the Lord guide my path and lead every step i take.
