anterwpen.stopover

while you still try to adjust back to the life in europe, you already started your first business trip of the year. it's a short two hours drive to south of brussels.  he volunteered to be your driver and while you were at work at your client, he took the advantage to sight seeing brussels.  it's a win-win situation but the weather has been really bad and stormy.

in the evening, you stopped over at anterwpen for dinner. you original intention is to try out a fusion restaurant but the restaurant is closed so you settle for a grill restaurant at the same secluded inner court in the busy historical center of anterwepen. this is not a tourist restaurant as it is so difficult to find and only the locals or insider will find this inner court.
your tired chauffeur of the day, it really makes a lot of different when you don't have to drive the journey.
you are fine after a day of work and now is the time to reward yourself with a good meal...
you had the artichoke cream cheese as your starter, he has a normal greek salad.
your grilled leg of lamb which is soft, moist and yummy....
likewise  his grilled rib eye is equally tasty
no, you didn't have both the desserts for yourself, that will be too much for your sweet life. you love the tartin apple pie with vanilla ice cream and the overdose of cinnamon powder that gives you the bitter sweet effect in your mouth.
this is a really confine and small restaurant run by a father and son, the fire place is where all the grills are done.

the next hour, you literally slept through the journey home. the wine, the tiredness from the client facing job, the jet lag, all in all put you in the good hand of your chauffeur who took you home safe and sound at around 11pm.
