kyu.iwasaki.teien.旧.岩.崎.邸.庭.園

there are a few mansions or teien (garden) in tokyo that you managed to visit. this is probably the last one on an extremely warm june afternoon.

the mansion has a very european facet, tucked in a quiet area of ueno. it took you awhile to find this place and it's a total relief when you finally found a shade as you approaching the mansion.

and this particular side house is very famous and popular architecture that was built at that time. a billiard room, a sort of game room for the gentlemen.
again for you it's the shade where you can hide the sun that really gave you the sense of relief...

last year around this time, i am about to embark on the journey for a few months posting in tokyo. time flies... it's almost a year ago... and i still have so many stories about japan untold ^^.
o japan, i do miss you sometime but i know my time and season for japan is over.
