you been to montmartre in the evening before. after the dinner, when your stomach is satisfied and you needed a walk, so they suggest to hike up to sacré coure. you welcomed the idea as that will help you to burn out some food you just ate.
but this place has never been so quiet before, there's almost no sign of tourists.... you almost had the whole platform for yourselves... where are all the tourists gone? you thought paris is the most touristic city in the world throughout the year. but tonight it is quiet in montmartre.
sacré coure is always the same, she is forever youthful and young, there is no sign of aging on her, even at night like this....
with the full moon, it looks really mystical and your point and shoot camera just doesn't do the justice of the atmosphere on the spot... it's hundred times more enchanting than this...
and at ten o'clock at night, miss eiffel tower is not letting sacré coure getting all the attention at montmartre. she is shining and dancing from a distance trying to get your attention too!
and miss eiffel is this far from montmartre but the view from here is superb. you could orientate yourself well from this perspective. and the weather is just so perfect, 10c on the so called winter in january. the air is crisp and pleasant weather for the short hike up and walking around.
this is the magic of paris, and you never get tired of it.
