Aren't they look like beautiful gem stones??


Well, these are no  more than ordinary staple food - R.I.C.E but a composition of 10 different grains (gems)

Eating healthily, I mean consciously eating healthily than ever before, that’s what we are doing lately. Instead of eating plain white rice, we started to fortify our rice with 17 grains that we bought from Japan and since we are running out of stock, we found another substitute for it. Instead of 17 grains, the Taiwanese version has only 10 grains and requires more time in cooking preparation that the mixed grains need to be soaked in water for 30 min in advance before cooking in the rice cooker.


However, it is worth the effort, now rice for us is no longer white rice but purple-ish and full of different textures, rice becomes more interesting, and most importantly it is healthy, mixed grains rice help releasing energy slowly over time…
