Chicken Soup for the Body

This weekend I made some tonic for myself again. I stewed chicken with deer antler (鹿茸) and Wolfberry (枸杞子) in a ceramic pot.

Deer antler is universally acknowledged as a precious tonic that is good for enriching marrow and blood of the human body and strengthening bones and muscles. I bought some deer antler many years ago from Chicago Chinatown but just leave them in the freezer until this weekend when I decided to treat my body. I am still feeling tired easily although it is not as bad as last 2 weeks. Perhaps age is catching up and thus I must take care of my body even more than before…
