Working from home today as I have an afternoon appointment at de Meern later, I took the lunch break to make Tamagoyaki (Japanese Sweet layered omelets). The ingredients are simple, egg, sugar, mirin and soy sauce. The only challenge is in controlling the texture of the egg and the rolling of the omelet.
My first attempt, pretty simple but challenging and exciting for me. Now the tamagoyaki is rest to set under the sushi mat, let see what is the verdict tonight.
