SPRING for Apple Crumble

Well, it is weekend, so the weekend chef is up and running again. I made apple crumble today (this morning, to be precise), not from scratch, but from a mix package. All I have done is peel and dice 5 sour apples, mix them with cinnamon powder and vanilla sugar. Then mix the flour with butter and egg until they are crumbled together and send the whole thing to oven for 50 minute.

Here is the apple crumble, mum-in-law came with JoJo, and both had a good share of apple crumble with vanilla ice-cream. Yummy for an early spring day, the warmth of apple crumble and the cold from the ice cream melt in my mouth, sweet, sour, hot, cold and vanilla, cinnamon aroma, all mingle well together in my mouth.
