Kuching Food: Cha Kueh (炒粿)

Cha Kueh (炒粿) or fried radish cake. I love the sweet Cha Kueh that my mum used to buy for me when I was young. However, this particular serving from Yeo Kee Kopitiam is of Penang’s version and it is a savory one that contains fried eggs, preserved radish (菜脯). This is also a signature dish that I really missed. The radish cake has the perfect texture and the fragrant of the preserved radish, eggs and vegetables give a perfect compote of flavors.
