Roxy & Cassis

We went out with my mum-in-law for dim sum in China town as a belated Mother's day celebration. After that instead of visiting Museon, we ended up visiting Jarreau again, of course it was difficult for me to make by choice (finally decided on Roxy) and Johannese being unadventurous immediately decided on Cassis without a second thought.

Roxy dressed in her little pink dress, glowing and glittering as any sexy lady should be, she put on a true scent of the season - scent of lychee yet show the true color of puree raspberry. She is sooo light, so delicate and so S/S (Spring and Summer), just by a bite of it, one could feel the summer breeze in the air, as if sitting in the meadow of green field or even surrounded by a lychee orchard...

Now, this is how I would describe the inner beauty of her. Although she looks glittering from the outter appearance, she has delicate skin that are soft and bouncy. The bottom is a layer of sponge cake with almond crust, the mouse is light and full of lychee scent yet never over empowring, the raspberry puree rightly justify and bring the overall palatte to a frangant and acidic end. Roxy is really my Pink lady...

Here you can see the different facets of Roxy and complemented by my extra thick matcha that give extra punch of bitterness (to wash away the grease of dim sum)

Well, in order not to ignore Cassis, we tried this before, Cassis is

classic bavarios, the taste, the texture and the appearance is consisitent. Johannes tasted my Roxy and feels the summer in the air but his Cassis reminds him of the sweetness in winter.
