UDON-udon

This is what we ate for dinner last night. Another Japanese flare and it is a rather simple daily meal. The recipe is from a Japanese cookbook that we borrowed from the library.

The ingredients are rather simple too, fresh udon, mushroom, chicken tights meat, a bit of leek and some spinach and egg.

The soup is where the zest of the noodles lie, soup made of sake and mirin and dashi. All three are the basic kitchen for Japanese food.
